Dearly beloved husband of the late Dr. Srima Subesinghe; devoted father of Samitha and Amali, loving father-in-law of Nina and Iain; adoring grandfather of Zain and Arran (all UK); affectionate brother of the late Thiami Ambanpola and Dr. Nyanissara Subesinghe (UK), loving brother-in-law of K.B. Ambanpola and Dr. Kusum Subesinghe, and the late Dr. Hector Jayasinha, the late Dr Esme Fernando, the late Clarice Subasinghe, the late Seela Subasinghe and Dora De Silva (Canada); friend, benefactor and confidante to many; passed away peacefully after a brief illness. Funeral on Monday 20th January 2025; viewing from 11 a.m. at “The Restpect Home” by Jayaratne’s; cremation at General Cemetery, Kanatte (new crematorium) at 4.30 p.m. No flowers by request.
