It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Mr. Subramaniam Sivathasan (SLAS, Retired Secretary to a Ministry and former Advisor to the President) on May 19, 2025, in Newark, California.Born in Suthumalai, Jaffna, Sri Lanka, he was the youngest son of the late “Kadavul” Subramaniam and late Rathinam, and son-in-law of late Sivagnanam and late Maheswari.He is survived by his beloved wife Sarojini, sons Arichanthiran (Harry) and Aravinthan (Vinthan), daughter-in-law Dharshini, and grandchildren Nisha, Anushan, and Abishan.He was the brother of the late Sivanesan and Thilagavathi, and brother-in-law to Kathirvellauthapillai, Rohini, Sivanathan, Chithra, Nimalanathan, and the late Rajarajeshwaran.
