With deep sorrow, we regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Kusumavathi Rajakumaraverl, beloved wife of late Union College alumnus Mr Rajakumaraverl Vanniasingham, on 30 December at Munamale, Bamunakotuwa, Kurunegala.She was the beloved daughter-in-law of the late Union College old student Mr. Vanniasingham Moothathamby and Mrs. Manonmany of Tellippalai, A devoted and loving wife, she was the cherished mother of Thusitha Manoj, Sanjaya Viraj, and Prasanga Thanuj, and a doting grandmother to Anuhas Nethmina, Yukitha Sethnula, Senuli Amaya, and Yenul, She was the dear sister-in-law of Union College old students late Murugaverl, Kanthavel (one of the founders of Union College OSA Canada), and Kugaval (former teacher of Union College Primary), as well as Umadevy, Calaimagal, Namagal (former teacher of Union College Primary), and Poomagal. Final Farewell:- The final funeral rites were held at 3:00 PM on 31 December 2025 at the Crematorium, Walpola, Mahakeliya.
