Sestracharya Panditha Chitrasoma Jayalath of Nawalapitiya, and loving mother of Dr. Dammika (Provincial Director of Health Services – Western Province), Dr. Engineer Samudra (Senior Lecturer – Federation University, Australia), retired schoolteacher Indraneela, and Attorney-at-Law & Writer Manahan. Foster mother of Naomi (Nursing Officer) and Dilrukshi (Irrigation Department), and sister of the late retired schoolteacher Mrs. Lily Vithanage. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday 18th at the age of 99.
