DAYA SANJIT WEERARATNE – Former Commissioner General of Inland Revenue Dept. Beloved husband of Shantha Weeraratne, father of Anushka and Rajiv Weeraratne, passed away peacefully on the 15th of August, 2026. His remains lie at the Araliya Room, Jayaratne Funeral Parlour from 9.00 a.m. onwards on 17th August 2026. Religious rites (Pansakula) will be performed at 2.30 p.m. and cremation will take place at 5.00 p.m. at the Old Crematorium (Devi Balika side) on the same day.
