JAYAWARDHANE – Mr. G.G. (GAMINI) (former General Manager CECB), beloved husband of Rajini and loving father of Rajive, Dimuth and Suneth, passed away peacefully on 15th October 2026. Loving father-in-law of Navamali, Indunil and Jayani, loving grandfather of Navod, Vihan, Neha, Samara, Seth and Kyan (all in the United States). He was the son of the late Mr. G.D. Thomas Appuhamy and late Mrs. Mary Nona Subasinghe of Kuda-Uduwa Horana, loving brother of the late Kamala, late Premalatha and Leela. His remains will lie at 50/8A, Siripa Road, Colombo 5 at his residence after 9.30 a.m. on 17th October 2026 (Saturday). The cremation will take place on 18th October 2026 (Sunday) at 3.30 p.m. at New Crematorium at Borella Cemetery.
