It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Mahinda Balasuriya (Retired Senior Superintendent of Police, Special Task Force) Dr. Balasuriya was the beloved son of the late parents Mr. Nelson Balasuriya and Mrs. Nergish Balasuriya, loving husband of Sanjeevani Balasuriya and the proud father of Thiyara and Tharindu Balasuriya (Attorney-at-Law) He touched the lives of many with his humility, sense of duty, and warm spirit. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him deeply. Remains lie at No. 34, Horton Place, Colombo 7 from 9P.M. 4th July 2025. Cremation will be held at 5:30pm on 5th July 2025 at the General Cemetery Borella (New Crematorium).
