Dr. PREMATILAKE – KALUBOWILA (Loku Kalu) – It is with profound sadness that we inform the passing away of Dr. Prematilake Kalubowila (UK) while vacationing in Sri Lanka. Eldest son of late Seneris and Sathyadai Kalubowila of Weragala, Padukka, loving husband of Pushpa (nee Padmaperuma, UK), father to Samitha and Emma, Samali and Nicholas, Dasal and Ushma (all of UK), devoted grandfather to Nirodha, Asha, Sriya, Ameya, Nalalka, Dillon and Nairo, brother of Senerath (UK), late Shrimathi (Australia), late Subadra (Germany), and Tissa Kalubowila (Germany), loving brother-in law of Cyril, Thalatha, Ananda, Deepani, Gamini Padmaperuma, Chitra (USA) and Punya (Australia). Remains will lie at Jayaratne Funeral Directors on Elvitigala Mawatha, Colombo 8 from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 22nd of November 2023. As Loku Kalu’s wish, the body will be donated to Faculty of Medicine.
