Late Thangamuthu Kandasamy (1930 – 2020)

Thanga Mathu Machal was a very close family member to our Vadivelu family. She was kind, gentle and a cool person who ran and managed a very large family. It’s our lyah (Vadivelu), who kept us very closely knit with mootha ma my’s (Machal’s Ammah) family and we met, ate and celebrated Apparti 011ai functions. Macha I will be remembered for her continued support to the extended family. Personally, I have fond memories from my participation with machal’s family particularly the Kattu VAYAL and Athulu VENGAYAM farm. I particularly remember machal’s lunch straight after harvesting at the VAYAL. It was like AMIRTHAM after a hard work at 40 degrees. I cannot forget Suthan waking me up at AM everyday for some four months for watering the Vengayam farm. Macha I ran a good life and silently helped her sisters, brother, nephews, nieces and others. We share her loss with the family and friends and ask NUNiVIL Pillaiyar to give them strength to cope at this difficult time. Her good deeds will
