Mr Albert Selvaratnam Aseerwatham – With profound grief and heavy hearts,​ we deeply regret to inform of the sudden demise of retired Postmaster Mr Albert Selvaratnam Aseerwatham on the 1st April 2025. He was the dear son of late Mr & Mrs Seemanillai Aseerwatham,​ darling brother to late Mary Josephine,​ late Mary Elizabeth,​ late Edward,​ Rajaratnam,​ late Wilfred Gunaratnam,​ late Arasaratnam,​ beloved husband of late Mrs Sugirtharatnam,​ loving father of Alex Aravintham,​ Nickolas Narendran,​ Anne Ahila,​ cherished father-in-law of Yalini,​ Annancia & Antony Arnold,​ adored grandfather of Adona,​ Elana,​ Naomi,​ Reshmi,​ Avani and Anjay. Visitations will be on Thursday 4th April 2025 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mahinda Funeral Parlour. The Funeral Service to honor his life will be held on Friday,​ 4th April 2025 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mahinda Parlour Florist. Cremation will be at Mount Lavinia Crematorium on Friday,​ 4th April at 2 p.m.
