Retired Director of Land Reform Commission (CAS 1), Dearly beloved husband of late Stephanie (nee Pieris Goonetilleke of Panadura), precious father of Niranjala, Savitri, Aloma, late Gihan, and of Chandini, father in law of Ranjan Abayasekera, Nirmo Thambapillai, Nalin Gunasekera, and Elmo Perera, much loved grandfather of Tishan, Samantha & Simon, Stefan, Shenuki & Crish, Natasha and Stephanie, great grandfather of Savanna, Tristan, Ralph and Kimberly, son of late Samuel George Ernest de Alwis, and Annie Jane (Nee Abayasekera) of Rockhill Estate, Galle, Son-in-law of late Edmond Reginald Peiris Goonetilleke (Crown Proctor, Panadura) and late Elizabeth Myrtle Lavinia (Nee Corea), brother of late Mervyn & Ira and late Rosebelle & Eardley, brother in law of late Egerton, Duksie, Late Daphnie and Jack Conway, late Rienzie & Daphnie Goonetilleke, passed away peacefully on 10th December
