Dearly beloved husband of Marian Candappa,​ father of Dilshani (Citibank N.A.) & Dilshini (Mel-Australia),​ father-in-law of Duminda Nalaka Jayasuriya (Retired SL Army – Major) & Damith Jayatilleke (Mel – Australia),​ loving papa of Deangelo & Deanna,​ Diella & Dianca (Mel – Australia),​ son of late Emmanuel & Erica Candappa,​ brother of Lorna (USA),​ Heloise,​ Adiel & Verna. Remains lie at Mahinda Funeral Parlour,​ Mount Lavinia from Saturday,​ 1st June 2024 from 9.00 a.m. onwards. Cortege leaves Mahinda Parlour on Sunday,​ 2nd June at 3.00 p.m. for St. Mary’s Church,​ Rathmalana and Burial at St. Mary’s Church Burial Ground.
