FERNANDO – MITHRAKA (M.B.C) – Everloving husband of Dilhani,​ cherished and doting father of Medhaka and Dheeraka,​ father-in-law of Indu and Charithya,​ beloved son of the late Merril E.C. Fernando and late Bermil Fernando,​ son-in-law of the late A.L.M. Fernando and Rita Ranasinghe,​ affectionate brother of Murdu,​ brother-in-law of Sasanka,​ Dilukshan and Ashra. The remains will lie at 32/​6,​ Huludagoda Gardens,​ off Huludagoda Road,​ Mount Lavinia,​ from 6 p.m. on Monday 3rd June 2024. Cortege leaves residence on Tuesday 4th June 2024 at 3:00 p.m. for service at the Chapel of The Transfiguration,​ S. Thomas’ College,​ Mount Lavinia at 3.30 p.m. followed by cremation at the General Cemetery,​ Mount Lavinia at 5:00 p.m.
