Beloved husband of the late Damayanthi Wickramaratne and cherished father to Maheshi (Melbourne), Indika and Dilini. Mahinda was a proud and passionate figure, a pioneer in Sri Lanka’s motor sports community and a kind-hearted friend to many. His longstanding association with ‘ABC Showrooms’ reflected his integrity, humility and character, earning him deep respect in both personal and professional circles. Above all, he was a devoted father, a generous soul, and a quiet pillar of strength who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His legacy of warmth, resilience and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved. Final respects will take place at Mahinda Florists, Mount Lavinia, on 24th May from 9:00a.m. to 2:30p.m. The last rites will be performed at the Mount Lavinia Cemetery at 3:00p.m.
