AMARASINGHE – VISAKA SENEVIRATNA KUMARIHAMY (nee Amunugama),​ passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday 12th November 2022,​ in Auckland,​ New Zealand. Loved wife of her late husband Dr Norman Amarasinghe,​ beloved mother of Yvonne,​ Romani,​ Rodney,​ Sepalika and Piyali,​ and mother-in-law of Rohan,​ Gayani,​ Joe and Dean,​ proud grandmother of Lishan,​ Sumangali,​ Manesh,​ Ranmalie,​ Carl,​ Petra,​ Amara,​ Sanath,​ Paige,​ Indika,​ Jade and Gothami and caring great-grandmother of Udula,​ Danuja,​ Hiruja,​ Thenuja,​ Hiruni,​ Onali and Aruni,​ survived by her brother Brian Amunugama and predeceased by her siblings Soma,​ Wilfred,​ Rani,​ Indrani and Stanley. A celebration of Visaka’s life has been held on Wednesday,​ 16th November in Auckland,​ New Zealand.
