FERNANDO – MARJIE (Retired Teacher of St. Peter’s College,​ Colombo 4) – Beloved wife of Cletus Fernando,​ everloving mother of Chamika,​ Dinesh and Rumesh,​ mother-in-law of Roshan,​ Gayani and Ranmini,​ loving grandmother of Roshen,​ Roven,​ Diren and Dinara,​ daughter of late Mr. Milton Cooray and Violet Cooray,​ sister of late Ranjith and Evans and of Lal,​ Yvonne,​ Srikanthi,​ Christopher,​ Shiran and Shirani,​ was called to rest in the Gentle Arms of Jesus Christ on 5th September 2022. Remains lie at A.F. Raymond’s Funeral Parlour. Cortege leaves Parlour at 1.30 p.m. on Wednesday,​ 7th September 2022 for burial at St. Mary’s Church Burial Ground,​ Katukurunda,​ Moratuwa
