Mrs. Flora Parimalam Ponnampalam

Mrs. Flora Parimalam Ponnampalam was born in Singapore in 1931, moving to Urumpirai, Jaffna, Sri Lanka in 1934 where she lived until she moved to Melbourne, Australia in 1990.  She passed away peacefully at her home in Melbourne on 28th February 2025 on Friday surrounded by her family.She was the beloved wife of late Mr. K. Ponnampalam, who was a teacher at Urumpirai Hindu College,She was one of fourteen children of  late Mr. and Mrs. Catherasoo of Urumpirai,She was a loving  sister to her siblings who affectionately called her Pillai.She was the loving mother of Vasanthaveni, Elangovan, Ragavan, Ravimannan, Nanthan, Loguparan and Sumathy,And the loving mother in law of Kumar, Rhonda, Gunashree, Mahilini, Tharmini and Jebakaran,She was a blessing  to her thirteen grand children, Rabintha, Dayan, Christine, Rahini, Rahulan, Shalini, Roshica, Niruja, Mihila, Vinojan, Luxmi, Dinesh and Beulah,And her six great -grand children, Joshua, Micah, Mia, Sienna, Olivia, and Riah
