DGM (Marine) SLIC),​ loving mother of Dr. Chaminda (Australia),​ Anusha (Canada),​ sister of late Hilda Berty Grace,​ survived by Pearl (Dehiwela) and Winifred (Canada),​ mother-in-law of Sarika (Australia),​ Steve (Canada),​ grandmother of Keisha (Australia),​ Ethan and Mark (Canada),​ passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa,​ Canada on May 25 and was cremated in Canada according to her own wishes
