Perera (Bertie),​ precious mother of Sunil (Australia),​ Ranjan (U.K.),​ Srini and Nilanthi (Australia) and late Lalith,​ mother-in-law of Chitra (Australia),​ Anya (U.K.),​ Dudley Waas and Asoka Daswatte (Australia),​ much loved grandmother of Nishan and Nalinka,​ Rushika,​ Sharnel and Suren,​ Anushka,​ Marissa and Dominic,​ great-grandmother of Aiyanna and Nevaan,​ Arjuna and Druvik,​ loving sister of (late Dr L.H. Fernando,​ Dr Neville Fernando,​ Doreen,​ Celine,​ Clarice,​ Marie,​ Maurice,​ Leonie and Anton),​ Norma Cross and Dr Rita De Silva,​ sister-in-law of Jeswyn Gunawardene and Dr Mervyn De Silva,​ P.S: Due to Covid restrictions a private funeral was held. A Memorial Service will be held later when her children from overseas can travel to Sri Lanka.
