SIRIKANANATHAN – Mrs. SELVANAYAKI (SELVI) (Retired Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Colombo). Beloved wife of Saravanapavan Sirikananathan, passed away peacefully in Colombo on 8 April 2024. Loving daughter of late Mr and Mrs Sittambalam; daughter-in-law of late Mr and Mrs Saravanapavan; fondly loved mother of late Shivahar and Nishkala (USA); mother-in-law of Wijhehar and grandmother of Vikashni and Nivashni. She was a loving sister of Kanapathipillai (Sittambalam) (UK), Sivagnanasundaram (Sydney), Balasundaram (Colombo), late Dr Rajasundaram, Kumarasundaram (USA), Sivanayaki (UK) and Sathianayaki (UK) and sister-in-law of Panumathy, Bhaskari, Parama, Maharani, Nilamini, Sanmugarajah, Gangatharan, Vimalarajah and Jegatheesan. Remains lie at “The Respect Home” by Jayaratnas’ on Monday, 15 April 2024 from 9am for cremation at Borella, Kanatte (Hindu Section) at 4pm.
