We are deeply saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Sujatha Karawitage on 5th January 2026 in London, United Kingdom.
Sujatha was the dearly beloved wife of the late SSP Dharamadasa Karawitage, loving sister of Asoka, Visaka, Jothi, Deepa, and Nissanka, and a devoted mother to Ishani, Jeewaka, and Nilanthi.
She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Tarushka, Kitana, Yeshan, and Talisha.
She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, and as a proud alumna of Buddhist Ladies’ College, Colombo.
The funeral service will be held at Hendon Cemetery & Crematorium, Holders Hill Road, London NW7 1NB, at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, 9th January 2026. Messages of condolence may kindly be sent to:
