GOMES – MIGNONNE – It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of MIGNONNE GOMES. Dearly beloved wife of Muni (Rtd. DIG of Police), loving mother of Ravi (ex-SriLankan Airlines) and Sandra Gomes, Sonali and Rumesh Ratnayake, cherished grandmother of Deandra and Kamila Waidyaratne, Sheraiah and James Medara, Rahil and Nadia Gomes, Kalisha and Reshaiah Ratnayake, adoring great-grandmother to Judah Medara. Her mortal remains will lie at A.F. Raymond’s Funeral Parlour from Thursday 20th July 2023 from 10.00 a.m. onwards. Cortege leaves parlour at 2.30 p.m. on Friday, 21st for cremation at General Cemetery, Borella at 3.00 p.m. (Old Crematorium). She spent a lifetime of love and devotion to all her loved ones and was the life and soul of her home. Her place can never be filled. May she rest in eternal peace with our Lord in Heaven
