Coorey, daughter of the late Dr Alfred & Muriel De Silva and sister of the late Chitra Dias and the late Tilak De Silva, beloved mother of Dilrukshi De Silva, Sharmini Coorey and the late Mohan and Anura Coorey, mother-in-law of Dr S.R. De Silva and John Hicklin, beloved grandmother of Tashya, Shiraj, Alastaire, Shalini, Oliver and Chanelle and beloved great grandmother of Eshan and Kiyan, passed away peacefully on the 29th of December 2023. Remains lie at 128, Park Road, Colombo 5, on Saturday, 30th of December 2023 from 9 a.m. Cremation at 1 p.m. on the 30th of December 2023 at the (Old Crematorium) General Cemetery, Borella.
