The funeral of MRS. P LEELARATNE (beloved wife of late Mr. I W D Leelaratne – retired Additional Commissioner of Examinations), retired teacher (Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda; Visakha Vidyalaya, Badulla; Siri Piyarathana Central College, Padukka; St. Lawrence’s Convent, Wellawatte; Aleathea International School, Dehiwela) who passed away on the 22nd of February 2024, was held according to her wishes and her mortal remains were handed over to the Medical Faculty of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on the 23rd of February 2024.We wish to express our deep gratitude to the staff of Homagama Base Hospital, Ms. Thanuja Ruwanpathirana of Certis Lanka Home Nursing and Swift Care (Pvt) Limited, Past Teachers’ Association and Old Girls’ Association of AnulaVidyalaya, Jayaratne Funeral Directors and Offi cers at KDU Ratmalana.
