In a distant land Ammi’s memories flash through my mind, one year has passed since you left us. I know you went to a place where there is no more pain or sorrows and you would have been welcomed by your creator as you reunited with MaIli, what more can you ask. The other day as I was glancing through old pictures and going through paper cuttings of your poems and stories my heart swelled with pride and sadness, what talent you had Ammi. When I listened to the stories of some of who had worked with you, how your warmth and compassion had touched their lives. I couldn’t be more proud to have been your daughter. You have made me what I am today and I thank you for everything you have done for the family. Forever grateful for the love you shared and the unwavering strength you have shown all of us. Our lives will never he the same without you but you have left us with such beautiful memories. Rest in peace Ammi.
