It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of DR. D.T.R. GUNAWARDENA. Beloved husband of Manique, precious father of Hemamali, Samantha and Tusith (Australia), loving grandfather of Kiyaan, son of Professor De Gunawardena (late) and Agnes (late), brother of Dr. Mahinda and Asoka (late), brother of Sujatha, late Lalitha and Ananda. His remains will lie at the Araliya Parlour by Jayaratne from 10.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. on 21st July 2025. Cremation will be at 4.30 p.m. at the new crematorium, Borella Kanatta, Colombo, 8.
