It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Geshon J. Samuel, beloved son of Dr. Anna Sorubini and Mr. Suresh Samuel, on August 20, 2025.Gershon, aged 24, was the cherished son of Mr. Suresh Samuel (Principal of Ceylon Pentecostal Mission School, Wattala) and Dr. Anna Sorubini Samuel (Medical Doctor, Colombo), and the loving brother of Priscilla Samuel. He was also the grandson of the late Kirubairajah Master and Lilly Teacher of Union College.Having recently completed his Software Engineering degree at SLIT campus, Geshon had just begun his career when he was suddenly called to rest following a tragic swimming accident in Colombo. His untimely passing has brought immense grief to his family, friends, and church community.The funeral was held according to Pentecostal rites.We kindly request you to uphold Suresh, Sorubini, Priscilla, and the extended Samuel family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
