DE ALWIS – RANJANI – Beloved wife of Dr. Kingsley De Alwis, devoted mother of Deepani De Alwis and Dilanthi De Alwis, loving mother-in-law of Yuxuan Cai and John Mummert and dearly cherished grandmother of Ian Mummert and Dilan Mummert, was called home to be with the Lord on 6th March 2026. An accomplished musician and dedicated teacher who shared her gift of music with many students in Sri Lanka, Canada and Italy. She was also a woman of deep Christian faith and a long-standing member of the Cinnamon Gardens Baptist Church, touching many lives through her kindness, generosity and unwavering devotion. Remains will lie at A.F. Raymond’s Funeral Parlour on Tuesday, 10th March from 12.00 noon to 9.30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Cinnamon Gardens Baptist Church, Colombo 07, on Wednesday, 11th March at 3.30 p.m., followed by cremation at the General Cemetery, Borella (New Crematorium) at 5.30 p.m
