DE SILVA – Dr. Pathma Maheswari de Silva, distinguished haematologist and widow of the late Dr. Kumar de Silva, passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2026, aged 83 years. She is survived by her loving partner, Gerald Bichener. Devoted and caring mother of Dr. Ranil de Silva, Amali de Silva, and Nimali Arumugam; cherished grandmother of Rahul, Rohan, Anoushka, Amaya, and Romesh; and dear sister of Eng. Nahil Wijesuriya and Dr. Kanthi Karalliedde. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. The funeral service and cremation will be held at midday on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Hendon Crematorium, London, UK.
