REV. FR. DON GEETHALY ANNESLEY of the Archdiocese of Colombo, expired on Wednesday, 15th July 2026. He was the beloved son of the late Mr. D.A. Don Joachim and late Mrs. Julian Pigera. The mortal remains of Rev. Fr. Geethaly Annesley will be brought to the Archbishop’s House Chapel on Thursday, 16th July at 9.00 a.m. at 11.00 a.m., the remains will be received at St. Lazarus’ Church, Hekiththa, and will lie in state until 8.00 p.m. following this, the remains will be transferred to St. Sebastian’s Church, Kandana. The requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 17th July at 3.00 p.m. at St. Sebastian’s Church, after which interment will take place at the Kandana Church Cemetery.
