STEP 1

  1. Login using your user name and password. If you have not registered yet, learn how to register here.
  2. Alternately, you can login with your facebook account or google account.

STEP 2

  1. Once you log in, you will be taken to your “My Account” page which is a dashboard where you can see all your notices and your information.
  2. Simply click on “Place a notice” to proceed.

 

STEP 3

  1. You will be prompted to select various notice types & categories here.
  2. Select the appropriate notice type and categories that are relevant to you.
  3. You can select a religion if you wish or select “No Religion” or “Other Religion” based on your preference. This helps us display your notice in special pages as well.
  4. Once this is done, you will be taken to another screen with more options.

STEP 4

  1. In the title field, you should enter the name of the person whom the obituary, tribute or remembrance is for.
  2. Under Funeral Status, you can select “Pending” if the funeral is in the future or “Completed” if the funeral is over, but you still want to place an obituary.
  3. Add the date and time of the funeral and the time the cortege will leave for the crematorium or cemetery.

If you want to request for donations, then select “YES PLEASE” at the Donation Area,  complete this form and submit it. Once verified, we will enable it in the obituary notice.

 

STEP 5

  1. Add the main description for your notice. Remember that you have up to 500 characters for this.
  2. Under images, select a nice image of the person, ideally a close up of the face and landscape in orientation. The image should be no more than 1 MB in size.

STEP 6

  1. Indicate which province the notice is relevant for or select overseas if the notice is for some one who is overseas. You will be prompted with a list of countries if selected.
  2. Add the address, phone number and a whatsapp number. (This information will be public and published with the notice. Leave blank if you do not want to divulge it.)
  3. Accept the terms & conditions (You can read through them should you wish)
  4. Submit the notice by clicking the button.
  5. Your notice will be sent to us for review. We will review it and publish it in 2 hours or the following day morning if the notice was published after 6.00pm.
  6. An email would be sent to you once published and also once it is live on the site.
  7. You will be diverted back to the “My Account” page where you would be able to edit and/or promote the notice. We encourage you to promote the notice so that it keeps getting refreshed and would come to the top of the notices daily.
