Beloved father of Rushana Akbar Cader and Raushen Perera (Australia). Much-loved grandfather of Aleena and Rustom Cader. Father-in-law of Mohamed Cader and Ajith Perera. Son of the late Mohamed Abdulla Akbar and Rahma. Brother of the late Ajward Akbar; Zameena Magdoom (USA),​ Ameena Cader and Jezima Naleem (Canada). Brother-in-law of the late Firdousia Akbar; the late Hazim Magdoom; the late M S A Cader; late Major M S M Nalim; the late A. C. Abdeen and Zareena and Abdul Wahab and Nazeema. Janaza left from 4A Rockwood Place,​ Colombo 07 on 25th August 2022 at 3pm. Burial at Jawatte Burial Ground. Surely to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return (Quran 2:15)
