MERRIL FERNANDO was one of the pioneers in group song culture in Srilanka.
He formed the first Srilanka group ‘FERNANDO TRIO’ with late Neville Fernando & Bernadine Fernando.
Later he formed ‘Amigoes Romantica’ group & sang රුවන් අඹර song which became very popular.
