Mr. Sisira Jaya lath,

We hereby inform you with deep regret that Mr. Sisira Jaya lath, Past President of Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (1988 -1989) passed away on 10”’ of January 2025. His funeral took place on 12th of January 2025. Mr. Sisira Jayalath had been one of the pioneering and dedicated leaders to bring SLIM to what it is today while he was the President of SLIM during 1988 to 1989. Since then his contribution for the well-being of the Institute has been significant and he was holding many honarary and advisory positions at SLIM. Mr. Sisira Jayalath , served at Ceylinco Life, Unilever Ceylon, Maharaja Group, Associated Motorways, ACME Packaging, Milco & National Lotteries Board He was also Cabinet Secretary at Lions International District 306A and Past President Lions Club of Colombo (Host).
