FERNANDO – YVONNE RITA – Beloved wife of late Shelton, loving daughter of late Sir Philip and late Lady Marianne Rodrigo, beloved mother of Cheryl Cooray (former Deputy Principal of Bishop’s College), late Charmaine, Chanis Boisard (France) and Dr Shyami Puvimanasinghe (UNHRC, Geneva), mother-in-law of Dr Lakshman Cooray, Alex Boisard and Dr Ashok Puvimanasinghe (Geneva), precious grnadmother of Shanaka, Madhuka, Dharshan, Althea, Lakmini, Amadhya and Apeksha, cherished great-grandmother of Devinka, Jayan, Shevin, Arlen, Alma and Avelyn, everloving sister of late Daisybelle, late Noeline, Cynthia, Shirla and Myrna, passed away peacefully on 18th September 2025. Remains lie at A.F. Raymond’s Funeral Parlour, Borella from 9.00 a.m. on Friday, 19th September onwards. A prayer service will be held at the Parlour at 4.00 p.m., followed by the Funeral at the Borella Kanatte, Old Crematorium at 5.00 p.m. on Saturday, 20th September.
