Beloved wife of the late Hugh Goonewardene, loving mother of Rukshan, and of the late Chanaka and Ronali, mother-in-law of Marina, and cherished grandmother of Reshan-Mihiri and Maleesha-Shannon, daughter of the late Felix and Winifred Athukorala, loving sister of Neville, Marie, Sunil, Kanthi and the late Nimal. Remains will lie at A.F. Raymond’s Funeral Parlour from 12.00p.m. on Tuesday 17th. The cortege will leave the Parlour at 3.45 p.m. on Wednesday 18th March 2026 for burial at General Cemetery, Borella (RC Section).
