Charmaine was a devoted wife to Tissa, dearly loved mother to Shaumya, mother-in-law to David Hood and caring grandmother to Hannelore, Nathaniel & Grace, sister of late Audrey and late Joan, retired music teacher of Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya, of Bishop’s College – Colombo and of Mudali Mawatha, Kohuwala, passed away at home peacefully on 21st September 2025. She will be brought home on Thursday 25th September at 8.30 a.m. Service at home at 1.30 p.m. the same day with cortege leaving residence at 2.40 p.m. for cremation at Kohuwala Cemetery at 3.00 p.m. No flowers by request.
