Perera (Bertie), precious mother of Sunil (Australia), Ranjan (U.K.), Srini and Nilanthi (Australia) and late Lalith, mother-in-law of Chitra (Australia), Anya (U.K.), Dudley Waas and Asoka Daswatte (Australia), much loved grandmother of Nishan and Nalinka, Rushika, Sharnel and Suren, Anushka, Marissa and Dominic, great-grandmother of Aiyanna and Nevaan, Arjuna and Druvik, loving sister of (late Dr L.H. Fernando, Dr Neville Fernando, Doreen, Celine, Clarice, Marie, Maurice, Leonie and Anton), Norma Cross and Dr Rita De Silva, sister-in-law of Jeswyn Gunawardene and Dr Mervyn De Silva, P.S: Due to Covid restrictions a private funeral was held. A Memorial Service will be held later when her children from overseas can travel to Sri Lanka.
