Rev. Fr. MERL SHANTHI PERERA, of the Archdiocese of Colombo, expired on Monday the 20th October 2025. He is the beloved son of the late Mr H. Anthony Perera and late Mrs Emalin Jayamanne. The mortal remains of Rev. Fr. Merl Shanthi Perera will be received at the Sacred Heart Chapel, Archbishop’s House on Monday, 20th October at 7.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 21st October at 4.00 p.m. his remains will be taken to St. Joseph’s Church, Pamunugama. The Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 22nd October at 3.00 p.m. followed by interment at the Church Cemetery, Pamunugama. Archbishop’s House, Borella.
