BALAGI PONNUTHURAI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ponnuthurai &#8220;Ponn&#8221; Balagi, age 65, of Clarion, Pennsylvania, USA passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022.<br \/>\nHe\u00a0was born in Karampon, Jaffna in Sri Lanka on January 29, 1957 to the late Thilagawathy\u00a0Ponnuthurai and Thambimuthu Ponnuthurai.<br \/>\nBalagi graduated from High School at Velanai\u00a0Central College in Sri Lanka and later received an Associate of Science in Nursing from\u00a0UMDNJ School of Nursing and Middlesex County College. Balagi worked as a registered\u00a0nurse in his early career and later became a hotel manager. He believed in Shaivaism and\u00a0felt very connected to God. He enjoyed meditation and yoga. He loved reading and learning\u00a0about all faiths as well as the history of the United States of America. He was a proud Sri\u00a0Lankan Tamil who truly loved America.
