DR. OSWALD THOMAS COLMAN GOMIS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>DR. OSWALD THOMAS COLMAN GOMIS<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; It is with deep regret that we announce the demise of His Grace the Most Rev. Dr. Oswald Thomas Colman Gomis,\u200b Archbishop Emeritus of Colombo on Friday the 3rd February 2023. He is the beloved son of the late Mr. Vincent Gomis and the late Mrs. Mary Florida. For public respect,\u200b his remains will lie in state at St. Anne\u2019s Church,\u200b Pilapitiya,\u200b Kelaniya until 12 noon on 4th February 2023. Thereafter his remains will be taken to St. Joseph\u2019s Cathedral in Anuradhapura. His remains will be received at 5.00 pm on Sunday the 5th February at the Kotahena roundabout and taken in procession to St. Lucia\u2019s Cathedral. The Requiem Mass will be held on Monday,\u200b the 6th February at 3.00 pm at St. Lucia\u2019s Cathedral followed by burial in the Cathedral Crypt.
