Born on 19th March 1937 in Colombo,\u200b Malkanthi was the beloved wife of late Maurice and mother of Asoka and Asanga. Loving sister of late Susil and Prianga. She was the eldest head prefect of Bishop\u2019s College in 1952,\u200b Social Worker with Family Planning Association and Mahila Samithi.
