It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of HEMIKA FONSEKA,\u200b dearly beloved wife of Sunil Fonseka and devoted mother of Chathuranga Fonseka and mother-in-law to Nuwandi Rathnayake. She was the much-loved sister of Booshana,\u200b Sadana and Ravi Panamaldeniya. Hemika was a kind-hearted,\u200b graceful soul whose gentle presence touched the lives of all who knew her. Her sudden passing has left her family,\u200b friends,\u200b and loved ones in deep shock and sorrow. Her mortal remains lie at\u00a0Jayaratne Funeral Parlour\u00a0from 1.00 p.m. onwards on Thursday,\u200b 21st August 2025. Cremation on Friday 22nd Aug 2025. Forever loved,\u200b forever remembered.
