He also served as a Group Correspondent for Thalawakelle for the Lake House newspapers during the mid-1980s. He leaves behind his beloved wife,\u200b Mrs. S. Jayalakshmi,\u200b and their children: Dr. Arulselvan,\u200b Ms. Kalaiselvi,\u200b Mr. Jayasingham (Engineer \u2013 USA),\u200b Mr. Jayakanthan (Engineer),\u200b and Ms. Kaladevi (Australia). His remains will lie at\u00a0Mahinda Funeral Parlour,\u200b Mount Lavinia\u00a0on 15th February 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,\u200b and on 16th February 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. Final religious rites will commence thereafter.
