He was the cherished father of Dr. Ashan Abeyewardene,\u200b father-in-law of Dr. Shamika,\u200b and the devoted grandfather of Shanya,\u200b Alisha,\u200b and Avyn. ASOKA will be remembered with love and respect for his enduring kindness,\u200b wisdom,\u200b and the legacy he leaves within his family. His presence will be deeply missed,\u200b yet his memory will remain a guiding light for all who knew him. Mortal remains will be at\u00a0\u201cThe Restpect Home\u201d by Jayaratne\u2019s\u00a0on Thursday 19th from 10 a.m. till 8.00 p.m. and Friday 10.00 a.m. till 4.00 p.m. Final rites and funeral arrangements will be held on Friday,\u200b the 20th of April,\u200b at the Colombo Cemetery,\u200b where family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of his life.
