{"id":23439,"date":"2026-06-02T09:52:39","date_gmt":"2026-06-02T04:22:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/funerals.lk\/listing\/dr-anandakumaran-kanapathippillai\/"},"modified":"2026-06-02T09:52:39","modified_gmt":"2026-06-02T04:22:39","slug":"dr-anandakumaran-kanapathippillai","status":"publish","type":"rtcl_listing","link":"https:\/\/funerals.lk\/si\/listing\/dr-anandakumaran-kanapathippillai\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr. Anandakumaran Kanapathippillai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On May 31 st , 2026, Dr.\u00a0Kanapathippillai Anandakumaran\u00a0passed away peacefully,\u00a0surrounded by his family.He is survived by his beloved family: his wife of 44 years,\u00a0Sitkala Yalini (n\u00e9e Vaithialingam),\u00a0son in law of the late Eswary and Vaithialingam,\u00a0his children Abirami (Rohan), Priya Nivashini (JP), his\u00a0cherished grandchildren Krishanth, Aarya and Neena, and his siblings Amirthanandan\u00a0(Saratha), Sivakumaran (Vijayalakshmy), Kamalambikai (Dr. Thavaneswaran), and\u00a0Arulambikai (Dr. Pathmasrirengan), and\u00a0 along with countless extended family members and\u00a0dear friends.Anandakumaran was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka on February 25, 1951, to parents\u00a0Kanapathippillai and Maheswary.
