Beloved wife of the late Nihal de Mel, precious mother of Sohan, Nishan, and Nilhan, cherished sister of Harris, Brandon and the late Malini, loving mother-in-law of Chonira and Lakmali, cherished grandmother of Deshan was called to her eternal rest, having passed on peacefully. Remains will lie at A.F. Raymond’s Funeral Parlour, Borella on Wednesday, 9th of September 2026 from 10.00 a.m. – 10.00 p.m. and Thursday 3.00 p.m. A Service will be held at A.F. Raymond’s on Thursday, 10th September 2026, at 2.00 p.m., followed by burial at St. Peter’s Church, Koralawella at 4.15 p.m. The family warmly welcomes her Relatives, Friends, Church Community and Associates including Teachers, former Students and Parents from Trinity College Kandy, St. Nicholas’ International College Colombo and Daybridge International School where she taught to pay their respects.
