MANOHARI WIJEGOONERATNE – It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our mother on 17th April 2026 in Colombo following a prolonged illness. Precious mother of Capt. Keith Jayasuriya and Ruwanika (Canada) and mother in law of Sharmala and Rishan (Canada) , precious grandmother of Rushika (Dubai), Shanuki, Rishnika (Canada ) and Ruvesh (Canada), daughter of the late Daniel and Merlyn Wijegooneratne and is survived by her sister, Swarna, (USA) and her brothers Dr.Palitha (USA)and Dr Jayantha (USA), predeceased by late brothers Lal and Nihal. Remains lie at “The Restpect Home” by Jayaratne’s on April 20 th 6pm to 11 pm and 21st April 9am to 1.00 pm. Cortege leaves Parlour at 1:30pm on 21st April 2026 for service at 4. 00 pm at Hendala Baptist Church Kerawalapitiya, and for burial at the church burial grounds at 4:30 pm
