WIJAYARATNE – MALINI SUJATHA – It is with deep sadness that we announce the demise of Mrs. MALINI SUJATHA WIJAYARATNE (former Teacher of Visakha Vidyalaya) – Beloved wife of K.B.S. Wijayaratne; dearly loved mother of Ravi and Ashini; beloved mother-in-law of Chanaka and Gnanika; adored grandmother of Niviru,​ Tharindu,​ Chehan,​ and Charith. Beloved sister of Dr. R.S. Jayathilaka,​ late Srima Piyatissa,​ late Chandra Weerasekara,​ Mangalika Samarakkody,​ Nimal Jayathilaka,​ and Shirani Swaris. Sister-in-law of Samara de Alwis,​ Padma Premaratne,​ K.B.A. Wijayaratne,​ K.B.W. Wijayaratne,​ and Indu Somarathne. Remains lie at “The Restpect Home” by Jayaratne’s on Tuesday,​ 12.05.2026,​ from 8:30 a.m. onwards followed by cremation at the General Cemetery,​ Kanatte (old crematorium) at 4.00 p.m
