Rev. Fr. DON CHRISTOPHER JULIUS, of the Archdiocese of Colombo, expired on Saturday, 12th September 2026. He was the beloved son of the late Mr Don Savarial and late Mrs K M Engratia Rodrigo. The mortal remains of Rev. Fr. Christopher Julius were brought to the Archbishop’s House Chapel on Saturday, 12th Sep. at 6.00 p.m. and lay in state until Sunday, September 13th at 9.00 a.m. following this, his remains will be transferred to his home parish, the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, Yattowita, where they will lie in state until Monday. The Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 14th September at 4.00 p.m. at the same Church, after which interment will take place at the Church Cemetery, Yattowita. Archbishop’s House, Borella.
